I had visited a blog-site entitled, “The Atheist”. And there was a blog topic heading called, “Logically Disproving the Christian God”. This blog topic stood out above the rest (to me) because One, it was a great opportunity to allow my belief in Christ to be challenged by the Atheist community; and Two, the heading said, “Logically Disproving” so if they could “REALLY” Logically prove/disprove the God I believe in, then I would stop living a Christian life because logically it wouldn’t make sense anymore.
So I was all Ears! The author of the blog, attack the Bible for being known as God’s infallible Word. Also, he and other Atheist bloggers (at best), attack the Christian God with science facts and reasoning; which only shows their logical doubt. But, Doubt is not Proof!!! Doubt does not prove or disprove ANYTHING!!!
Now when I joined, I basically told them God is “Love”. As it is written, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1st John 4:8 [KJV]. Does this mean God is simply an emotion (as science would explain) NO!!! Does this mean the dictionary definition of Love ID’s God? NO WAY!!! The Bible’s knowledge of Love is far more superior then the world’s definition. Love is described in the Bible as being the creator of all Life; Love is the reason for everything made. It is Love that makes Man a husband and a woman a wife; it is love that brings children into the world; love is how a man & woman creates a family, which could become a tribe and then possibly a nation. It is love that drives everyone to live as they do. And everyone’s knowledge of love will determine the outcome of their life.
Science is good but it’s all brainpower. Science has no heart to know love. Also you must believe in Love and science does not operate by faith, science is all facts and theories. With science being Atheists’ source and guide to truth, it’s easy to see why they don’t believe in God. There are lacking heart and soul, which science could never thoroughly explain. But Love is REAL! Even science knows of Love to a certain extent. So if Love is REAL then God is REAL. For it is simply written, “GOD is LOVE”.
So what is Atheism, to the Bible??? NOTHING AT ALL!!! Atheism is only a challenge against God’s Word (the Bible). Everyone who considers themselves an Atheist has rejected eternal Love/God. They have no hope in it nor do they have a heart to receive it. But I’m hoping this blog help some Atheists become Christians or at least consider better, what it means to be a Christian. The Bible (The Word of eternal God/The Word of eternal Love) is able to mortify Atheism and renew an Atheist heart, which would transform them into a Christian who believe in real LOVE; the real and Living GOD.
